Aluora Terms of Use
Aluora is a cultural knowledge, archive, identity, and community platform. By accessing or using Aluora, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Aluora. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
2. User Responsibilities
You must not post, upload, share, or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, spam, deceptive, copyright-infringing, malicious, or impersonates another individual, clan, lineage, or community.
Users are responsible for the content they contribute and for ensuring they have the right to share it.
3. Cultural Knowledge and Heritage
Aluora exists to support the documentation, preservation, discussion, and archiving of cultural knowledge.
Users should not submit sacred, restricted, confidential, or culturally sensitive knowledge unless they have the authority and permission to share it.
Aluora does not claim ownership of cultural heritage, oral traditions, community knowledge, clan histories, traditional songs, ceremonies, languages, folklore, or similar cultural materials contributed by users.
4. Verification Disclaimer
Aluora may verify cultural knowledge, archive sources, language entries, historical references, or cultural structures through platform review processes.
Verification status reflects evidence reviewed through platform processes and does not constitute proof of ancestry, lineage membership, clan membership, ethnic identity, cultural authority, historical certainty, or community consensus.
5. Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of the content you contribute to Aluora.
By submitting content, you grant Aluora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, preserve, organize, index, archive, and distribute your content as necessary to operate and preserve the platform and its cultural archives.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
Aluora reserves the right to review, restrict, hide, remove, archive, suspend, or terminate content or accounts that violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, applicable law, or platform safety requirements.
7. Copyright Complaints
Copyright owners who believe their rights have been infringed may submit a copyright complaint through Aluora's reporting process. Aluora may remove or restrict content while investigating such claims.
8. Limitation of Liability
Aluora provides user-contributed cultural content and archive material. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, reliability, or cultural authority of user-contributed information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aluora shall not be liable for user-generated content, cultural disputes, historical disagreements, community claims, or losses arising from reliance on information contributed by users.
9. Account Termination
Users may delete their accounts through available account settings. Aluora may suspend or terminate accounts where necessary for safety, legal compliance, moderation, or platform integrity.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
